Joe Buck is a UK based Artist from Birmingham. A Bi-product from
the 1970s. His work sheds light on the darker side of life, with
a distaste for what society calls perfection he is drawn to the
dark, damaged and broken because this is how he's sees himself,
that said he is comfortable with this for its via the cracks
that the light shines through.
His most recent works entitled "Buttons and Bows" is a
celebration of the relationship of two famous mice but through
the cracked lens of reality.
A love story to the end
In 1986 Joe left school to become a graphic artist but this
wasn't to last as Joe had romantic dreams to write and illustrate
Children's books. Suffering rejection after rejection he packed
his bags to travel the world. He travelled for 10 years taking
many different jobs to keep him moving forward. These travels
took him to places as far as Alaska, Ascension Island and
Joe hates pub quizzes with a passion, board games, grown up baby
talk, cuddly toys, Lighthouse family, M-people, Limp handshakes,
double denim and the go compare meercats..
